As the cornerstone of the new medical corridor, Our Lady of Lourdes is situated on 45 acres of land off of Ambassador Caffery Parkway. It will change what you have come to expect from health care.
The $211 million dollar campus opens with a main acute care hospital, a four-story medical office building and neighboring complexes that house over 60 physicians who have relocated practices in the area. Built from the ground up for the future of medicine, Our Lady of Lourdes is designed — totally and completely — with you in mind.
Grounded by Faith In keeping with Lourdes’ faith-based mission, our newly dedicated chapel is designed as the centerpiece of the new hospital campus. With seating for 80, mass will be celebrated in the new St. Agnes Chapel every day.
Efficient Design for Emergency When seconds matter, the 2nd floor ER trauma room is steps away from imaging technology, which saves valuable time with serious and emergent cases. Surgery is also located nearest to ER for seamless transfer of critically-ill patients.

Imaging Technology Between Lourdes Medical Center & Lourdes Imaging Network, we now offer extended capacity and the most precise imaging in the region. Acadiana’s only all-digital program includes the newest High Field 1.0 Open MRI and a 3T MRI in the neighboring Medical Office Building.
Advancements in Surgery The new hospital is home to the Southeast’s first true surgical hybrid suite with the only Maquet OR table in Louisiana used for a multitude of medical conversions. Our Lady of Lourdes has the newest DaVinci Si technology for Robotic Surgery and an OR dedicated to highly specialized neuro-interventional program.
Universal Check-in on Procedural Platform The design of the facility offers simple navigation, with one universal check-in desk on the 2nd floor for outpatient testing, imaging and procedures, along with daytime or major surgery. This allows for improved family communication and streamlined patient care.
Fresh Air & Natural Light Rooftop courtyards, meditation garden, and balconies have been incorporated throughout the new hospital with naturally lit atriums, expansive windowed patient rooms and waiting spaces that provide a breath of fresh air. Quiet prayer rooms, family kitchens and comfortable waiting spaces are provided on every patient level for guest comfort.

Seamless Integration The new hospital is equipped with technology that allows for automated integration of information technology and medical records which will streamline results for patients. Advanced imaging and the newest diagnostic equipment will allow for physicians to provide their patients with faster results.
All the Comforts of Home In larger rooms cascading with natural light, our patients will receive medical treatment with the comforts of home. “At Your Request” nutrition program delivers fresh, made-to-order meals similar to hotel room service, and flat screen televisions give patients and guests access to cable, movies, email/Internet, games and health educational features.
