FMOLHS Top Performing Health System
Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and its sister hospital facilities that comprise the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS) ranked in the top 20% of 321 health systems as published in Thomson Reuters’ fourth annual list of the 100 Top Hospitals: 15 Top Health Systems.
100th Anniversary Celebration
September 30, 2011 marked the 100th anniversary of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady’s journey to the United States. In 1911, six courageous Sisters arrived in Pineville, Louisiana to build a sanitarium. They were headed by Mother Marie de Bethanie Crowley who did not waste a single moment when she learned their plans in Pineville would not work out.
Lourdes Moves to Ambassador Campus
Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, one of the newest and most advanced medical facilities in Louisiana, opened the doors of its brand new hospital on Ambassador Caffery on June 25th. Patients were transferred to the new hospital by way of ambulance beginning at 6:00 a.m. this Saturday morning.

Health System Hospitals Recognized For Quality
Baton Rouge, LA – All four hospitals that are part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System were recognized for quality this week by the Louisiana Quality Foundation during a reception at the Governor’s Mansion. The Louisiana Quality Foundation gives Performance Excellence Awards based on the National Malcolm Baldrige criteria.
Kaufman Appointed Chief of Staff
Henry J. Kaufman, IV, MD was recently appointed Chief of Staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Dr. Kaufman joined Lourdes’ medical staff in July
